Article 13 is a section of the new EU copyright law which was recently approved by the EU Parliament. Essentially, what it does is require content hosting sites to sign agreements with copyright holders to be able to host any of their content. If they allow the content of said copyright holder on their platform without signing such an agreement, they'd presumably be liable to a lawsuit. However, like most modern legislation, Article 13 is extremely vague, so the specifics of exactly what sorts of copyrighted content this applies to (can you post a photo you didn't take?) and the limits (what If you heavily edit the photo?) will, from what I can tell, probably be decided by administrative bureaucrats and judges. What are your thoughts on this?
