The game did not have to come out in 2018. games in 2017 are still valid for obvious reasons but the point is, games that you PLAYED in 2018.

I'll go first, in no order

1. Life is Strange 2

2. Hellblade: Senua's Sacrifice

3. Prey

4. Vampyr

5. Red Dead Redemption 2

6. Kingdom Come Deliverance

so is this a thread for games I enjoyed that I played for the first time during 2018? Or for games that released in 2017-18 that I enjoyed?

I played a couple of games way older than the 2017 releases, so hopefully those count:
1. Red Dead Redemption 2 (2018, Might be the best game of all time)
2. Planescape: Torment (1999, Might be the best game of all time)
3. God of War (2018, Great)
4. Dying Light (2015, Techland's best game so far)
5. The Elder Scrolls Online: Morrowind (2017, a wonderful throwback)
6. Quake Champions (2018, Favorite new multiplayer FPS)
7. Warhammer 40K: Gladius (2018, Super duper turn-based strategy)
8. Resident Evil 5 (2009, laughable story but fun co-op)

I'm just gonna copypasta my GOTY thread from Twitter lol

12-Vampyr
11-Kingdom Come
10-Monster Hunter World
9-Ni no Kuni 2
8-HITMAN 7
7-Spider-Man
6-Valkyria Chronicles 4
5-Dragon Quest XI
4-Assassin’s Creed Odyssey
3-Yakuza Kiwami 2 & Yakuza 6
2-God of War
1-Red Dead Redemption 2

Games that weren't released this year but I loved;
Kingdom Hearts 2, BBS, 3D
Tales of Berseria, Vesperia, and Symphonia
Shenmue

and Prey Mooncrash was probably one of the best expansions I've ever played

The sheer amount of weebishness here is simply revolting.

Honestly most of the games I've played recently are older titles I've just decided to try but...

1. Ghost Recon Wildlands (A little repetitive but pretty addictive)
2. Slime Rancher (Great soundtrack, relaxing and colourful)
3. PC Building Simulator (Adding new components regularly, actually pretty accurate)
4. Car Mechanic Simulator (Accurate enough representation and a nice puzzle-like game)
5. FIFA 19 (Champions League tho)
6. Maplestory 2 (Not a bad game but no endgame goals)
7. Empyrion Galactic Survival (Nowhere near finished but it's like a scifi ARK)
8. Resident Evil Revelations 2 (BARRY THO)

EDIT: I haven't played RDR2 or God Of War yet- I don't want to invest in a PS4 right now, but when RDR2 hits PC.. If it hits PC... I'll for sure play it.
